Osun State Commissioner,Hon.Bola Ilori,was beaten up by suspected thugs for regional integration during APC zonal meeting about restructuring and true federalism in Akure. The incident that occurred at the International Event Centre, The Dome marked the end of the programme meant to take position of Ondo, Osun and Ekiti States on the lingering issues of restructuring and true federalism. It was like a drama when the suspected thugs descended on Bola who was one of the delegates from Osun State, tore his clothe and beat him black and blue before security agencies came to his aid. Bola and the leader of Osun State delegates led by Chief Adedeji Gbadegesin had made presentations on behalf of the state and was about to grant interview to the media when some suspected thugs came and told him to vacate the venue as the event was an APC’s event.
