Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State, Mr. Godwin Ogorugba, weekend, said the Federal Government, under All Progressives Congress, APC, has squandered N15 trillion in two years with no single road project completed.
Speaking at Otor-Igho community shortly after the Chairman of Isoko council, Mr. Emmanuel Egbabor, declared his intention to vote for the position for a second term, Ogorugba said the country had been impoverished by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led APC administration.
He said: “They have borrowed over N10 trillion, but the projects cannot be seen anywhere in the country. The money has been blown off systematically in the name of consultancy services.
“The former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, came up with so many road projects which can be seen everywhere. But today, APC’s government has not been unable to add a single kilometre of road to that.”
Earlier, Egbabor said infrastructure development, quality health care, and youth empowerment will form the policy thrust of his administration if re-elected.
