Real Madrid midfielder Isco was at the centre of a worrying security breach after Spain's 1-0 win in Israel on Monday night as he was approached by a pitch invader.
Six fans rushed onto the field in Jerusalem, with reports in Israel claiming that one separated from the group and approached Isco carrying a knife.
A security agent was quoted by local reporters as saying: 'We immediately understood that he had a knife in his pocket.'

The young male intruder, wearing jeans and a grey hoodie, was led away by security personnel
It was claimed by one member of security staff that the invader was in possession of a knife
The Israeli FA later dismissed claims that the young male had been armed with a blade but promised that all six pitch invaders would face legal action.
A statement read: 'According to all the information we have, there is no evidence or indication that someone was carrying a knife among those who jumped into the field.
'We will file a lawsuit against the six fans who will have to face the consequences of their totally objectionable actions in a stadium.
The incident occurred after the final whistle at the Teddy Stadium, where Real Sociedad star Asier Illarramendi settled the match with his first international goal.
Spain's narrow win saw them finish five points clear of Italy at the top of UEFA World Cup qualifying Group G.
Isco started the match on the bench, before replacing Aritz Aduriz on 66 minutes.
He was unharmed in the ugly post-game scenes and therefore remains in contention to start for Real in Saturday's trip to Getafe.
