Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has won the Best Governor of the year 2017 award, for his efforts at revamping the health and education sectors of the state. The award was Presented by Telegraph Newspapers. Other notable award winners were the Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, and Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal. While speaking with Newsmen shortly after the event, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje dedicated the award to Kano Citizens. According to him, such awards give him the strength to do more to improve the living conditions of the people.
